The Cleveland Furniture Bank serves qualified families and individuals referred to us by more than 225 participating agencies. Each year, we serve more than 3,000 clients.

Furniture donations are accepted from individuals and home furnishing retailers, assisted living facilities, hotels and motels, and other businesses in the community. The furniture is given to those in need through a voucher program, or sold in our Thrift Store (located next to the Furniture Bank on Biddulph Avenue in Brooklyn). All profits from the thrift store sales are applied to underwrite the cost of operating the Cleveland Furniture Bank to provide free furniture to people in need. 

The Cleveland Furniture Bank was established in 2006 as a 501 (c) (3) charity. 

THRIFT STORE

The Cleveland Furniture Bank Thrift Store and Donation Center is located at 6700 Biddulph Road in the Biddulph Shopping Plaza. Our Thrift Store provides a wide selection and price range of furniture, mattress sets, small and large appliances, clothing, household items and bric-a-brac.

Many items donated to the Cleveland Furniture Bank are not usable in our mission to provide basic home furnishings to needy families. Those items are sold through our Thrift Store and the profits from those sales are used to cover the majority of the operation costs of our efforts to pick up and deliver furniture to the needy.

The Cleveland Furniture Bank Thrift Store is a destination you will want to visit if you are looking for almost new to gently used items.
