All donations are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt for your donation. Two thirds of all the furniture collected goes to those in need. The remainder of the donated furniture is sold through an associated Thrift Store. Receipts from these sales underwrite the operating expenses of the Cleveland Furniture Bank. This successful model appears to reduce the need for numerous fund raising efforts. Recycling your furniture not only positively impacts the lives of people in need, but also the environment as you reduce the amount of materials sent to the landfill. Another way to change the lives of the needy in our community is to make a tax deductible cash donation to the Cleveland Furniture Bank. All donations are used to support the Bank and its mission of serving those in need by picking up and delivering furniture. Your support can make a big difference. For example, a cash gift of $225 provides a family with a bed, couch, table and chairs, dresser and mattress set. To donate using PayPal, simply click on the Donate button on this page. You can also consider a donation of your time to help spread the word about the Furniture Bank among service organizations, retailers, realtors, home owner associations and others in your community. We also count on volunteers to make minor repairs to donated furniture and assemble furniture donated by retail stores. The Cleveland Furniture Bank also accepts Car Donations. Please consider donating a car, truck, or other vehicle that will be sold through the auto auction and the proceeds used to provide financial support to allow us to continue to provided basic home furnishings to those in need in Northeast Ohio.
